Membership has been steadily increasing over the last 10 years and it rose by 6% in 2016! ACFP’s membership has grown to 4,611 family physicians, 
family medicine residents, and medical students.
- 383 members attended the Annual Scientific Assembly in 2016
- 455 attended the Practical Evidence for Informed Practice Conference in person and 126 attended by webcast from their home or office in 2016
- 700 physicians were participants in ACFP CPD programs offered on the road in 2016
- 246 physician leaders registered in the Engage Primary Care Leaders’ Registry and 27 leaders were successfully engaged in system level projects and initiatives through www.engageprimarycare.ca
