Volunteer with the ACFP

Call for Nominations Now Open: Board and Governance Committees

The ACFP is inviting its members to become part of its Board of Directors (Board) or Governance Committees.

ACFP Members who are interested in advancing family medicine in Alberta are encouraged to submit their nominations by October 6, 2023.

Volunteers who demonstrate the commitment to engage in these roles get the opportunity to make an impact on the College’s programs, services and governance. They are integral to leading the College’s strategic direction and elevating family medicine across the province. Over the next three years, volunteers will also gain extensive experience in the areas of governance, leadership, advocacy, public relations and more.

In line with the ACFP’s commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the College strives to foster and environment where everyone is recognized and valued; therefore, it encourages all its members in good standing to apply.
