Facilitated Access to Specialized Treatment (FAST)
As part of the Alberta Surgical Initiative, vascular surgery recently joined the FAST program, a central access and intake program that receives surgery referrals to ensure patients receive their scheduled surgeries within clinically appropriate timelines.

Respiratory Virus Immunization Update
As respiratory virus activity continues to rise, the AHS is encouraging Albertans to protect themselves by getting immunized with the influenza and the updated COVID-19 vaccine. Resources for community providers are available on the AHS website.
