ACFP's 2023 Research Showcase Posters

The Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP) hosts its annual Research Showcase in conjunction with the Family Medicine Summit. Abstracts are submitted and scored by peer reviewers across Alberta. Abstracts that are accepted to participate as posters are highlighted at the in-person Research Showcase poster walk and Welcome Reception, in addition to being shared virtually. 

The top 6 posters are adjudicated after a verbal presentation as well, and the first, second, and third place Reviewer’s Choice award winners are listed below:

  • 1st Place: Increased symptom scores and prolonged course of recovery for the female patients with concussion injuries seen at the university sport medicine – C. Lebrun, A. Boyd, S. Mahmood, A.M. Przyslupski, T. DeFreitas, M. Mrazik
