Connect, learn, celebrate – that is the brand for our flagship event, the Family Medicine Summit, and to be fair, it is really our modus operandi of how we want to deliver programs for you, too. We are very lucky to have two of your brightest from your respective classes to help us develop and deliver programs that will resonate with you.

Creating opportunities for connection

Student Information Nights

Once a year, the ACFP organizes a student-family physician meet and greet luncheon or dinner. The event provides a great opportunity for students to network with practising family physicians (ACFP Member volunteers) and engage in an informal career investigation.

Clinical Skills Night

With the support of the ACFP Student Liaisons, the ACFP hosts an annual Clinical Skills Night for first- and second-year medical students. These facilitated workshops are made possible by ACFP Members who volunteer their time and share their clinical experiences.

Student Socials

The ACFP is happy to host a social or two for students. Whether it’s been informal gatherings at our annual Summit or an organized summer social, we want to provide a forum for connection and community.
