The purpose of this study is to explore current screening practices, perceived barriers, and clinical beliefs related to the identification and management of poor nutritional status and depression in older adults among Canadian family physicians. Given the high prevalence and bidirectional relationship of these conditions in later life, this research seeks to better understand how they are addressed in routine primary care.

This one-time, anonymous online survey explores the screening practices of Family Physicians for depression and poor nutritional status in older adults, along with their beliefs and perceived barriers related to these conditions. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and can be accessed at the physician’s convenience.
