As Alberta considers changes that may alter how physicians are compensated and how primary care is delivered with the introduction of Bill 11, the perspectives of practicing family physicians must inform ongoing policy discussions. This study seeks to better understand how such changes may affect clinical practice, continuity of care, patient access, and professional values. Understanding these concepts can help inform and improve the working conditions of family physicians, as well as the health care policy environment that legislation seeks to act upon, directly impacting patient care
The survey takes 10 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, physicians may volunteer to participate in a follow-up semi-structured Zoom interview lasting approximately 20 minutes, to be scheduled at a time convenient to the participant.
