We would like to welcome Dr. Quratulain Qureshi, who recently joined the ACFP’s Education Committee! The committee is responsible for developing and delivering continuing professional development programs and events for family physicians.
Dr. Qureshi practices in Lethbridge as a family physician. She recently moved from the UK to Canada hoping to provide good medical practice and process impact on medical education.
As a new Member-at-Large of the Education Committee, Dr. Qureshi is very happy to be of help. She notes, “it’s an honour to be accepted to serve on Education Committee as I’ve always believed in empowering our current/future generation of doctors to be the better version of themselves as well as prepare them in this forever changing landscape of family medicine.”
What Dr. Qureshi values most about the ACFP is its work related to the advocacy of doctors and providing them opportunities to help shape their careers as indispensable. She also values the research opportunities provided by the ACFP.
