Background:
Cancer screening rates in Alberta remain below Alberta and Canada targets:
• Breast: 62.9%
• Cervical: 62.4%
• Colorectal (CRC): 43.1%
Cancer Prevention and Screening Innovation in Primary Care Alberta is conducting interviews to understand barriers and facilitators to breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening uptake.
Get Involved: Are you a provider or clinical staff involved in patients’ breast, cervical, and/or colorectal cancer screening? Could you help us identify strategies at the patient, provider, and/or health system level that improves breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening uptake?
Share your perspective on the barriers and facilitators of cancer screening and help identify potential strategies to enhance screening uptake for Albertans.
What is the time commitment? 45-60 minute phone interview.
