COVID Talks for Docs

This webinar is hosted by physicians from Alberta Health Services, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and the Alberta Medical Association with support from Alberta College of Family Physicians.

The webinar will respond to common and emerging questions from primary care and other generalist physicians (i.e., pediatricians, internal medicine). Participants will have time to ask questions related to managing patient and practice needs during COVID-19, including:

  • Managing COVID-19 results – practice management tips and tricks
  • Close contact management

Presenters: Dr. Jia Hu, Medical Officer of Health, Calgary Zone/Family Physician, AHS and  Dr. Adam Vyse, Family Physician

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify relevant sources of information related to community-based practice during COVID-19 to answer common questions
  2. Describe role of family physicians in close contact management
